BIO
Nassor A. Nassor is a lecturer, researcher, and innovator in electronics and telecommunications engineering with over 15 years of experience. A PhD holder from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) (2022), he specializes in digital electronics, image and video processing, and 3D modeling, robotics, and brain-computer interface. Dr. Nassor has international exposure from reputable institutions, such as KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), enhancing his teaching and research expertise.
He participated in undergraduate and postgraduate programs as a curriculum developer, aligning them with industry needs. A passionate advocate for robotics, he mentors students and has judged the World Robotic Olympiad Tanzania.
Beyond academia, Dr. Nassor contributes to consultancy projects, including the GePG System Assessment and the FinHub initiative with CRDB Bank, bridging academia and industry. His dedication to education, innovation, and technology continues to inspire and drive progress locally, regionally, and globally.
RESEARCH
Dr Nassor Ally is a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE). His research interests are in Wireless Communication, Photonics, Signal Processing, Embedded Electronics Systems, and Electronics Design.
