Description: The main objective of this project is to enhance the effectiveness of the traditional system for taking attendance of students during classes

 

Expected Output: Four fundamental outputs are expected from this project: online system for recording attendance of students in the class; hardware for capturing faces of students; publication; and intellectual property rights (IPR) for the developed software and hardware systems.  In the last output, IPR will be registered to relevant authorities of the country. These outputs will be exhibited to the forthcoming UDSM research week as well as to their local exhibition events.
