Description/Main Objective: The main objective of the proposed project is to minimize fish mortality in aquafarms using Internet of Things technologies.

 

Expected Output: The expected research outputs are as follows:

Aquaculture IoT based system for water quality and automatic feeding management will be established in Tanzania A database containing various aquaculture related data. Findings will be published in peer reviewed Journals, refereed conferences, scientific reports, policy briefs and newspaper articles Development and fabrication lab for aquaculture IoT solutions Two MSc degree graduates in aquaculture and IoT technologies. Increased production and hence income through sustainable IoT based aquaculture system in Tanzania.
