Program Description

The goal of the training is to equip participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to leverage the potential of blockchain for business transformation and innovation. Specifically, the training will focus on the following objectives:

  1. Introduce fundamental principles and mechanics of blockchain;
  2. Discuss, with practical examples, how blockchain has transformed businesses;
  3. Overview regulatory requirements, including governance, security, and privacy, of blockchain;
  4. Discuss applications, use cases, and perspectives of blockchain across various industries.

Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to gain the following capabilities:

  1. Critically evaluate the core principles and security implications of blockchain technology;

  3. Design and implement a basic smart contract to address a simplified business use case;
  4. Differentiate between public, private, and consortium blockchains, including smart contract deployment scenarios, for informed decision-making; and
  5. Assess the potential impact of blockchain and smart contracts on existing business models and the broader social and economic landscape.
