Description
The ASE East Africa Limited (IECEx recognized training provider) in collaboration with the University of Dar es Salaam plan to conduct training on mitigation of explosions and safety measures in industrial processes.
Objectives
To strengthen and promote safety and explosion protection in industrial processes.

Understanding safety and explosion protection practices in industrial processes.
Topics
- (1) Basic principles of Ex protection
- (2) Ex zones (classification and marking)
- (3) Explosion groups and temperature classes
- (4) Explosion protected electrical devices
- (5) Installation and maintenance of explosion-protected electrical devices
- (6) Directives ATEX (2014/34/UE and 1999/92/EC), EN and IECEx standards (60079 and 80079)

Course Materials
Will be provided.
Certificate of Attendance
Qualified participants will receive certificates of competence as specified in the ATEX Directive and IEC 60079-17 Standard
