Dr Kwame Salum Ibwe is a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Dar es Salaam (2004) and a Master's of Science in Digital Communications from the University of Chalmers, Sweden (2007). In 2014, he received his PhD degree in Electronics and Communications, majoring in wireless communication systems from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Dr Ibwe is a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), in the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT). He teaches Electronics courses for undergraduate programmes and Real-Time Systems at the postgraduate level. His main research areas are Information Theory, Wireless Communication, Signal Processing Techniques for Medical Technologies, and Problem-based Learning Methodologies for engineering education. He is currently a Post-Doctoral student in the iGRID project.
